District Training Days are in the process of being planned as follows:
Thursday, 19th May at Cannock
Sunday, 22nd May at Chester
Wednesday, 25th May at Llandudno
The Cannock Evening, 7.00 for 7.30 is open to all Lions and will provide specific information on the roles and responsibilities of the Club President, Secretary and Treasurer as well as giving a short presentation aimed at new lions and their sponsors. It is expected that evening will finish at 9.30. Full details of the venue and speakers will follow when planning is finalised, but is expected to be very much the same as the Llandudno programme.
The Chester Day is the main District training day and is open to all lions and will follow the following programme:

An introduction to the new initiative for this lion year of a Global Membership Team and a Global Leadership Team (replacing MERL). The presenter will be the GMT Chair, Lion David Durrington. A question and answer session will follow.
A presentation for new lions in a general conversation format including questions and answers.
A short presentation on useful sources of information available to any lion to be given by District Secretary, Lion David Slack. A question and answer session will follow.
